TUCSON, Ariz. — A local elementary school put their STEM skills to work today, maintaining a community garden.
Manzo Elementary was voted "Greenest Elementary School on the planet" by the Center for Green Schools.
Manzo focuses on hands-on learning with their desert biome ecology project.
Students help maintain a garden, green house, and animal habitat.
Earlier this year Cox Communication donated $15,000 to the school to support the program.
