Lights of the World debuts in Tucson

The largest light and lantern festival in North America is coming to Tucson, just in time for the holidays.

Lights of the World Tucson features over 11 exhibits and 75 lantern displays showcasing different cultures and landmarks across the world with over 6 million LED lights.

The Lights of the World festival runs every Tuesday through Sunday until Jan. 2, from 5 to 10 p.m. in the east parking lot of Kino Sports Complex, 2500 East Ajo Way. Discounted tickets are available online and at local ACE Hardware stores and Food City stores through Nov. 7. Admission includes the lantern exhibits and displays, over 20 carnival rides and an acrobat show from Nov. 8 to Dec. 2 or a sea lion show Dec. 4 to Jan 2.
