Using the internet is almost key to our daily living, but does pose many threats and dangers to users and their devices.

To help keep everyone safe online, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office is hosting a Cyber-crime Prevention Workshop on Saturday, April 28th from 10 a.m. to noon. It will be held at the Cochise College, Sierra Vista Campus.

Those attending will learn how to stay safe when browsing the internet, the latest scams plaguing our world, how to protect yourself and identity when traveling and how hackers can get into your devices.

Cyber crime is a fast-growing problem and is estimated to cost $6 trillion in damages by 2021.
