TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The countdown to Christmas continues and there are fewer and fewer shopping days left.
Park Place Mall was crowded with procrastinating shoppers Sunday, hoping to get some last-minute gifts.
"I'm just a procrastinator I guess, when it comes to the holidays, I just do it last minute," says Brian Hickey.
For the last minute shoppers, some stores offer extended hours in the days before Christmas along with good deals.
If you are traveling this Christmas, there is more good news in terms of gas prices. Nationwide the average price for a gallon of gas dipped below two dollars for the first time since 2009. In Tucson, the average price for a gallon is near $1.80.
For those shipping gifts, there are some important deadlines to keep in mind. The most basic shipping options will no longer deliver packages before Christmas, instead you will need to pay for faster shipping.
