TUCSON, Ariz. --The new year is just two weeks away and to kick off 2020, Arizona State Parks & Trails is offering a free guided hike at Catalina State Park.

It's called the First Day Hike.

The State Parks & Trail website says the hike starts at 9 a.m. on January 1st and will offer a family friendly tour of the Romero Ruins trail.

There will also be a new virtual tour for those physically unable to climb or travel, but want to participate.

A spokesperson for the State Parks says Google Earth and Google Maps are offering a 360-degree view of all Arizona state parks and more than 175 miles of trails.
