One of the January 8th survivors was arrested today in Washington D.C.
Patricia Maisch participated in a sit-in at the Capitol with 7 other protestors Tuesday.
Maisch is credited with wrestling away a magazine of bullets from Jared Loughner during the January 8th shooting at a Safeway in Tucson.
She and the other 7 protestors were detained for a few hours.
Maisch hopes the see background checks on all gun sales and better access to mental help.
