Crews from the Rural Metro Fire Department are responding to a Hazmat situation at Los Ninos Elementary, according to Jay Karlik of RMFD.
Karlik says crews responded to the school for the odor of gas around 12:20 p.m.
The school was evacuated.
Three students and one faculty member were transported to the hospital for respiratory issues.
Crews have determines the smell was coming from an open sewer line near the school.
