Governor Doug Ducey got an inside look at Arizona's education system here in Tucson.
He visited San Miguel High School on the southside.
Ducey sat in on a Freshman Physics class and spoke to all students at an assembly where he encouraged them as they prepare for finals week.
The governor said he was impressed by the school's work-study program.
San Miguel students attend classes four days a week and work one day a week at an internship with local companies where they learn skills that will help them in their future careers.
