A Tucson Gold Star mother whose son was killed in action in Iraq 10 years ago was given a surprise just in time for Veterans Day.
GEICO and Caliber Collision gave Sheron Jones a 2014 Toyota Camry Friday morning.
Since her son, Staff Sergeant Darrel Kasson was killed, Sheron has worked as a volunteer. She's Arizona president of the American Gold Star Mothers and member of the VFW and American Legion.
Sheron received the car as part of the National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides program, which repairs and donates cars to people in need.
