People packed into Agua Caliente Regional Park to feast their eyes on bats Saturday evening.

Wildlife biologists caught the bats earlier this year.

Randy Babb an Information and Education Program Manager with Arizona Game & Fish says Tucson is home to three species of bats that are rare in the state: the Yellow Bat, the Lesser Long-nose bat, and the Mexican Long-tongue bat.

Babb says Mexican Long-Tongue bats are migrating away from Arizona.

The Game & Fish Department is currently working on developing a bat viewing area near the Campbell Avenue Bridge that includes informational placards for visitors.
