TUCSON, Ariz. - Those who gave their lives serving in the military are being honored and remembered for Memorial Day.

Hundreds of motorcycle riders spent today lining the roads with American Flags, and visiting the National Veteran Memorial Cemetery of Arizona near Cave Creek and Pinnacle Peak Roads.

Riders USA President Kirtis Baxter says "Just trying to put a smile on somebody's face that's come to pray for their child, or their husband, or their father or their uncle or anybody like that to make their day a little easier."

It's the 13th annual flags for our fallen event.

There were more than 500 flags, each with the name of a fallen soldier or a veteran.

The event started at 6:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 p.m.
