Nurses from El Rio Community Health Center celebrated National Nurses Week by giving books to children in pediatrics.
Every nurse had to opportunity to participate by distributing books and patient gift bags.
'We are celebrating nurses week by giving back to our community, our young folks here at the clinic, so we are distributing books to every child that comes into our clinic today and hopefully we will make a difference in their lives," El Rio Manager Tom Garcia said.
