A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on September 3 has passed away from injuries he sustained in the collision.
The accident happened on Speedway Boulevard near Olsen Avenue.
The pedestrian has been identified as 48-year-old Christopher Osimea.
Detectives say Osimea had just crossed the raised median when he was struck by a truck. He was not in or near a crosswalk.
Authorities say that speed or alcohol were not factors in the collision and no citations were issued.
