DOUGLAS, Ariz. — A Southern Arizona prison that houses 2,000 inmates was without water for days.

Officials say Cochise County has repaired a leak that fixed the water issue.

The Arizona Department of Corrections says the Douglas prison experienced a sharp water pressure drop on Friday.

Cochise County dug a deeper well today to try to pinpoint the problem.

The prison did provide portable sinks and toilets, and bottled water to the prisoners.
