TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Cats, emus, kangaroos, pigs, baby goats and dogs. Those are just some of the animals the Pima County Sheriff's Department has helped rescue.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department Facebook post, Deputy Donald Molchan came across a lost pup while on patrol near Ajo and Country Club yesterday.

Deputy Molchan found the dog wandering and decided to stop and see if he could help out. He described the dog as super friendly, playful and comfortable around people. The dog was also neutered, and was wearing a collar.

After giving the dog some food and water, Deputy Molchan had the dog hop into the front seat of his patrol car, and he drove him safely to the Pima Animal Care Center.

If you recognize this adorable dog, or would like more information, please contact the Pima Animal Care Center at (520)724-5900.
