Pima County Sheriff's deputies are responding to a deadly single vehicle collision at Overton and La Cholla, according to a tweet from PCSD.
PCSD says north lanes are closed and east traffic will be restricted.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

PCSD says deputies from the Foothills District responded to a single vehicle collision at 4:30 p.m. on La Cholla Boulevard at Overton Road.
As deputies arrived, they found a vehicle crashed into the pole of a light signal.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene. Deputies have identified the driver as 73-year-old Lawrence Junco.
He was the only occupant in the vehicle.
The Traffic Unit responded and determined that Junco was wearing his seatbelt.
It is not known if speed or impairment were factors. The events leading up to the collision are still under investigation.
