DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. — Explosive Ordnance Disposal Airmen confirmed there was no evidence of explosives after a suspicious vehicle was found near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Friday.
The vehicle was found by a military working dog during a routine sweep near the intersection of Kachina and 5th streets.
Personnel working in the immediate area were evacuated, and traffic was rerouted.
Officials say a lockdown was not initiated.
All facilities and roadways are now open.
