TUCSON, Ariz. - Construction crews will start a repaving project in midtown on Thursday morning.
Crews from Southern Arizona Paving and Construction Company under contract of the City of Tucson Department of Transportation will mill and repave First Avenue from Wetmore Road to Limberlost Drive.
This is a one-day project that will begin at 7:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m.
There will be temporary lane closures from northbound left turn lane from First Avenue to Wetmore Road, and soutbound left turn lane from First Avenue to Limberlost Drive.
The project is scheduled to change with unforeseen seen circumstances.
There will be electronic traffic signs to direct traffic.
Drivers can expect delays through the area.
Drivers are asked to use caution as there will be workers, traffic signs, and equipment.
