TUCSON, Ariz. - On Wednesday, September 19, students at Canyon Del Oro High School will be taught how to do life-saving chest compressions.
In order to properly learn the CPR, the American Heart Association is donating practice dolls to CDO.
Arizona recently passed a law that requires all high school students to be certified before they graduate, and that will go into effect July 1, 2019.
The requirement appears to be a trend as more states recognize the importance and value of knowing CPR.
The training for CDO Students is from 10 - 11 a.m. on September 19.
