CPR Training for Canyon Del Oro High School students

AZ law requires certification before graduation

On Wednesday, September 19, students at Canyon Del Oro High School will be taught how to do life-saving chest compressions.

In order to properly learn the CPR, the American Heart Association is donating practice dolls to CDO.

Arizona recently passed a law that requires all high school students to be certified before they graduate, and that will go into effect July 1, 2019.

The requirement appears to be a trend as more states recognize the importance and value of knowing CPR.

The training for CDO Students is from 10 - 11 a.m. on September 19.
