The Erik Hite foundation is hosting a community fair to celebrate First Responders Appreciation Day.
Erik Hite was a Tucson police officer who was killed in the line of duty back in 2008.
The Erik Hite Foundation, a local nonprofit, helps provide child care and family outreach to families of law enforcement and first responders.
Saturday, the foundation is holding a free event from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Reid Park Ramada 10, 900 S. Randolph Way.
The public, first responders, and their families are invited to join in the festivities.
Saturday's event will have vendors, a glitter tattoo booth, vendors, free snow cones, and a barbecue lunch (free for first responders).
