People worried about monsoon flooding lined up for free protection from the City of Tucson.
Since early Friday morning, people have been lining up at a Tucson DOT yard at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds to pick up free sandbags.
There was a ten bag per vehicle limit.
KGUN 9 spoke with a man who suffered flooding before and knows where his home is prone to flooding. He now has a good idea of where to place sandbags.
"Water just rushes up against our laundry door and so last year we did come and get some bags to put around it and it helps a lot. So this year the bags have tattered up so we have to go and get some more," said Khue Tran.
The city plans to pass out bags until about 8 p.m. tonight.
Tucson DOT plans to offer bags against next week, but have not set the day yet.
