City of Tucson looking for public comment on Mayor and City Council salaries

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Citizen's Commission on Public Service and Compensation is looking for public comment concerning salaries for the Tucson Mayor and Tucson City Council.

Before the Commission makes a recommendation, the public is invited to comment on the issue, at the following meetings:

  • Feb. 25 at the Patrick K. Hardesty Multi-Service Center in the large meeting room (1100 South Alvernon Way)
  • March 4 and March 11 at the Donna Liggins Recreational Center in the medium room (2160 North 6th Avenue

All meetings begin at 6 p.m.

If approved by the Commission, the recommendation will be on the November 2019 City Ballot.

Public comments will also be accepted through email (cityclerk@tucsonaz.gov) or written to the Citizen's Commission on Public Service and Compensation (C/O City Clerk's Office, P.O. Box 27210, Tucson, AZ 85726-7210).
