TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The family of Christina-Taylor Green, Pima County Board of Supervisors and Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation will be unveiling of the Christina- Taylor Green Memorial Park Plan and Sign on Jan 9.
The Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Park Fund was created by her family to honor Christina-Taylor.
The memorial park will create a desert garden and open space for families and children, and celebrates the spirit of a young girl and her love for butterflies.
The Christina-Taylor Green Memorial River Park is located at Shannon and Magee with the dedication ceremony taking place on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m.
The dedication will launch a fund-raising effort to construct the park.
Tax-deductible donations may be made to the Parklands Foundation with CTG on the memo line and sent to Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation, 3500 W. River Road, Tucson, AZ 85741.
The Green Family has also set up a "Go Fund Me" account called Christina-Taylor Green Memorial River Park.
