A 9-year-old girl riding a stand-up scooter was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Sahuarita Police Department, the collision happened at Camino Paso Corto and Corte Calza. Officers arrived on the scene at 1:23 p.m.
The girl suffered a leg injury and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The collision is currently under investigation.
The driver of the Sedan was cooperative and stayed at the scene. Police say that neither drugs or alcohol are suspected to be a factor.
