US Border Patrol officials are on high alert for migrants crossing the border during the triple heat expected to heat Southern Arizona over the next couple of days.
Border officials say they are always looking to help migrants in need of first aid even before they detain them. They say this is one of their busiest times of the year for both arrests and rescues.
According to CBP the amount of people crossing the border and being detained is down compared to past years. However, the number of people being rescued remains the same.
CBP says they are a law enforcement agency first but they never forget their humanitarian side.
They discourage anyone from crossing the border, even more during these heat waves.
