TUCSON, Ariz. — "Tired of bowling, going to the movies and same-ole date nights? Ready for a unique spot to study? An extraordinary yoga experience or meditation class?"
That's what you can find on the website for El Jefe Cat Lounge.
It is expected to open soon in Tucson with events scheduled in October. According to the site, it will be a place for people to interact and play with adoptable cats, while enjoying a snack and a drink.
The cats are from the Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter & Sanctuary.
The lounge has meditation classes scheduled for Saturday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 29. They cost $25 and you can make reservations here.
The website says a one hour visit to the lounge will cost $10 and the "soft open" is taking place October 31, with a grand opening celebration planned for late November.
It is located at 3025 N. Campbell Avenue, Suite 141.
