COOLIDGE, Ariz. — Fourth of July is next week, and park officials at the Casa Grande ruins are reminding people they are closed for Independence Day.
The monument only closes three days a year, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Fourth of July.
The monument will open again at 9:00 a.m. on July 5.
They're also reminding visitors the monument is operating on shorter summer hours due to the heat.
