A brush fire that burned near homes in Nogales on Monday afternoon caused some residents to be evacuated.
Nogales Police spokesman Sgt. Robert Fierros said 20 homes were forced to evacuate their homes.
The call came in around 1 p.m.
The brush fire was burning in the Soto subdivision on Beck Street and Milo Street. The wind was reported to be taking the fire toward homes.

Rio Rico Fire and Nogales Fire were the two main agencies responding. Agents with the U.S. Border Patrol are also assisting.
The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental. No homes were lost or damaged and no injuries were reported.
