Border communities are condemning Border Patrol on the deadly shooting of a migrant in the desert on Wednesday.
Border patrol says it happened when two agents intercepted a group of suspected illegal immigrants.
One man attacked an agent, grabbing his gun.
Border Patrol says that's when the other agent shot the man, who died later.
As the FBI investigates the incident, people came out to a press conference held at Tucson's Jacome Plaza. They expressed frustration and anger about the people, quote, "Murdered directly by Border Patrol."
They said the Chief Patrol Agent of Border Patrol's Tucson Sector "Justified the killing."
The statement was read at an art project installation to support DACA recipients.
