A legendary recording engineer who helped produce some of the Beatles most legendary albums has died.
Variety reports Geoff Emerick, 72, had a heart attack.
It is not clear where Emerick died, but he was set to be in Tucson in a few days for an event. He was scheduled to be on KGUN9's Morning Blend later in the week.
Emerick worked on "Seargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "The White Album" and "Abbey Road."
