Go-kart fans are going to love this.

You can now drive super-fast, indoors, in downtown Tucson.

The Autobahn Indoor Speedway officially opened this weekend.

People lined up to get a chance to race the high-speed go karts at the company's first West coast facility.

AJ Camacho had his doubts about how fast these go-karts could go.

"This is my first time here. I honestly came in with doubts, but the karts were awesome. They were super exhilarating man!"

But when he got off the race track he was sure these karts went fast.

"40 miles an hour, 50 miles an hour. Somewhere in there - it was awesome though, I mean, honestly they're cool."

"These aren't your typical go-karts. They're actually Italian made and this kart right here can go 50 miles per hour around the track."

No speed limit go-kart racing.

Event Sales Manager Sean Superville says that's probably one reason why people are lining up to give it a try.

"This is the only type of indoor go-kart facility you're going to find here in Tucson. Our nearest competitor is in Phoenix."

The facility is huge, with two different tracks.

One designed for speed, one for technique.

"It's a 63,000 square foot facility, fully air conditioned. And we also include party rooms, and a fully furnished conference room."

The management sees opening weekend as a big success.

"Opening weekend has been really great. We've had a ton of walk ins. we've had a line almost out the door since before we open."
