SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. - Sierra Vista Police arrested a man who allegedly committed sex crimes against a child.
Police arrested 29 year-old Steven Prescott on 4 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
The arrest comes after a nearly two-year investigation in which DNA test results were used to lead SVPD to a man they believed had inappropriately touched a 12-year-old.
The results came in on Friday, June 14 and police arrested Prescott later that same day. He is being held without bond at Cochise County jail.
