Each pint of the syrup is worth more than $1,500.

Members of the Border Strike Force found $150,000 worth of the cough syrup in the trunk of the car.

The syrup is often mixed with Sprite to make the drug "purple drink" also known as "sizzurp."

Micah Owen-Forney and Lubre Peeler were arrested and are now facing charges of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, transportation of narcotics and conducting a criminal enterprise.

The Arizona Border Strike Force has seized more than 60,000 lbs. of marijuana and 17.2 million hits of heroin traveling on Arizona roads.
