Arizona's law enforcement agencies are taking part in the annual 'Torch Run'.

The event benefits the Special Olympics, where100 percent of the proceeds go to the athletes to help them get to their events.

This year, Nogales Police confirm they are not participating because of the recent shooting death of officer Jesus Cordova.

The fundraiser will take place throughout the state of Arizona where seven torches will be carried around the state and make its way to its final destination in Mesa.

The segment ran through Pima County Monday. On Tuesday, May 1, officers and deputies will be carrying to torch through Ft. Huchuca, Cochise County Sheriffs, Tucson's Border Patrol, UA Police, Dept. of Corrections and the Tucson Airport.

On Wednesday, the route will take them north through Pinal County.
