UPDATE: Woman killed in shooting near Golf Links and Pantano

UPDATE (10:28 p.m.):

Tucson Police are now saying a woman was shot and killed Monday afternoon.

Around 12:30 p.m., officers and Tucson Fire responded to reports of a shooting near Golf Links.

Once they arrived, the woman, 38-year-old Aimee Leigh Kimble was found dead in an enclosed patio.

The suspect, 33-year-old William Michael Pritchard, was found at the scene and taken into custody. He has been charged with second-degree murder.

The investigation is still ongoing.

The Tucson Police Department (TPD) is investigating a homicide near E. Golf Links Road and Pantano Road.

TPD says officers and homicide detectives were on scene Monday evening.
