TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The sports community is mourning the recent death of Salpointe High School’s legendary coach Jim Flannery.
In his first year back in 1981, he led the Lancers golf team to a state championship. During that time in the late eighties and early nineties he was also coaching the basketball team, which brought home more than one regional title.
His last year with the Lancers was back in 2020.
