TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — A new playground is coming to the Palo Verde Park.
Starting Monday, November 24th the park's playground area will be closed due to the installment of a new playground and shade structure.

The new design was chosen by community members via a survey sent out in March of 2025. The City of Tucson says option 3 of the survey won gaining 40% of votes.
Crews are set to complete construction before the end of the year.
