TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A local firefighter is getting national recognition.
Kari Spanarella has worked at Rural Metro Fire Department for 13 years. Her hard work and passion to the department is giving her the opportunity to represent her team at the Annual American Ambulance Assciation in Washington D.C.
Spanarella will also get to meet with members of Congress and talk about the department and our community's future.
She will be heading to D.C. in April.
