Sun Tran and Teamsters Local 104 have agreed to extend the current labor contract until 11:59 p.m. July 8th.
This extension will allow negotiations to continue.
The Sun Tran bus service will operate on a regular schedule throughout this period. Labor talks will resume on July 3rd.
We are very hopeful a contract can be finalized during this time, said Katrina Heineking, Vice President for Transdev America, and are thankful to Sun Tran management, the Teamsters Local 104 and the 3rd Party Labor Negotiator Robert Guth for all the extra time and energy that’s been devoted to try to reach an agreement that will work for both parties.
