TUCSON, Ariz. — A Tucson woman is in federal custody after being charged with selling fentanyl that led to three overdoses, and took one person's life.

Officials with the Phoenix Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) say a grand jury indicted 22-year-old Jocelyn Lopez-Sanchez on federal charges last week. She turned herself in to authorities Wednesday afternoon.

The DEA says three people who bought the fentanyl later overdosed from it, including one person who died last November in Tucson.

If convicted, the DEA says Lopez-Sanchez could be sentenced to life in prison.
