TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Special Olympians hit the green Monday to welcome the upcoming Tucson Conquistadores Classic PGA Tour championship tournament.
Eleven of the Olympians tee'd it up for a four-hole tournament while others participated in a putting clinic.
Even though the main event is not here yet, the pre-tournament has been a long time tradition in the city.
Each year the event gathers about $30 million for young athletes.
If you would like to attend, the tournament begins March 14th until next Monday, the 20th.
