Our morning showers and isolated storms will continue to clear to the northeast, allowing our highs to warm back into the low 90s in Tucson. Scattered thunderstorms will likely redevelop from Tucson to the south and east.
With light winds, any storms that form will be slow moving, bringing on the potential for locally heavy rain and possible flooding. If storms develop too early in the day, the clouds could lower the threat for heavy rain.
Afternoon and evening storm chances will be up and down today through Sunday, lingering around 30 to 40% for Tucson. Monsoon will be a little less active Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
