TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson hit its first freeze of the season this morning, at the Tucson International Airport. It occurred at 5:55 AM.
The average first 32° occurrence is nearly a month away, Nov. 24. Last year, a similar scenario happened when we dropped to 32° for the first time on Oct. 31.
The earliest first freeze in Tucson was set on Oct. 16, 1899. And the latest was set on Jan. 25, 1978.
