After countless calls to utility companies including Cox, Century Link, and Tucson Electric Power, the wires were cleaned up.

The woman who reached out to KGUN9 says she's happy the wires are gone.

An eyesore has residents in one Armory Park neighborhood upset.

"This is the forgotten alley, and it's pretty tacky here with all these lines."

Kathy Linehan moved to S. Herbert Avenue in the Armory Park area nearly four years ago, and every day she is reminded that her utility pole lines are too low.

Dead wires from utility pole lines are dangling and many of them, Linehan says, she had to cut because they were touching the ground.

Linehan says garbage trucks and others have ripped down lines because they're too low.

"The kids would come down from the high school and swing on them when they were coming home."

KGUN 9 reached out to all the possible companies these wires could belong to, including COX communications which came out Monday afternoon to assess whether any of the wires belonged to them.

The company issued a statement, "We will have our team go out and tidy up the COX lines. but you will need to contact the other utilities/providers on the pole if there are additional needs for work."

A spokesperson for Tucson Electric Power says the electrical lines are up high and not hanging low but will request someone to take a look at the area

A third potential company has not responded yet.

Linehan says she wants her neighborhood cleaned up and not forgotten. "I wish they would come and clean up the lines. What would it take? I'm sure they wouldn't want it in front of their house."
