A middle of the night theft robbed one family of their Christmas decorations, but they say they are determined not to let a mean-spirited person steal their holiday spirit.

Around 11:30 Friday, December 8, a person walked into Lee Stuva’s yard and stole the large inflatable yard decoration.

Home security footage shows the person calmly folding the deflated lawn ornament, which looks like one of Universal Studio’s Minion characters and walking away with it.

Footage indicates the person took two minutes and 45 seconds to finish the crime.

When she noticed it was missing on Saturday morning, Stuva and her husband watched their security footage.

“How could somebody do that. where's your moral compass, it doesn’t make sense.”

Stuva says the decoration cost $200. She plans to replace it and says she’s determined not to let one person ruin her holiday season.

Marana Police now have the footage and are looking for the person who committed the crime.

Anyone with information about the stolen decorations or the person who committed the crime to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
