A local music festival is stepping up security in the wake of last weekend's Las Vegas concert massacre.

Dusk Music Festival promoters say they will have private security, police officers on patrol during the event, which starts tonight. Between 20 and 30 uniformed officers, as well as undercover officers, will be at the event.
Organizers have met with law enforcement authorities several times this week to solidify security plans.
