TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Tucson Roadrunners will retire Craig Cunningham's No. 14 jersey in an Oct. 27 ceremony at Tucson Arena.
The team announced Craig Cunningham Night for the 7:05 p.m. game against the Iowa Wild at Tucson Arena. The team will hand out Cunningham bobbleheads.
Cunningham collapsed on the ice last year after suffering cardiac arrest. Paramedics performing CPR on him on the ice, and doctors performed a procedure on him that had only been done 3 times before.
On Oct. 27, Cunningham's jersey will be raised to the rafters.
Cunningham retired as a player and took a job as a scout with the Arizona Coyotes.
