Jami Salyers, Director of Operations and Partner with Arby's in Tucson said, " I cannot even begin to tell you how heartwarming it was to deliver these toys knowing that they are going to put a smile on a child’s face at Christmas who normally would not receive anything. Our hearts are full knowing we have helped change the lives or made lives better for those in Tucson. Arby’s Cares!
Arby's Cares, the brand's community outreach initiative, works to make Tucson a better place to live, work and play. Through its efforts this year, Arby's raised more than $26,000 for United Cerebral Palsy ($75k over the last four years); conducted a fund raising drive for Youth Charities including, Boys and Girls Clubs, Junior Achievement, No Kid Hungry and the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank, Empire High School basketball player Noah Nieto’s cancer treatment, and held a city-wide diaper drive for the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona; Teacher Appreciation Day and raised funds to replace equipment for the Vail Little League Team when their field was vandalized and their equipment was stolen. And, Arby’s Cares continues to feed our fire fighters and police all year long.
