The long-awaited follow-up to the 2013 classic may have been something of a letdown, but still manages to entertain with its familiar cast of characters, as well as some dynamic new songs. The sequel's story goes to some dark, challenging territory, with ice queen Elsa (Idina Menzel) questioning her station in life and visiting a dangerous realm. Her sister, Anna (Kristen Bell) is there to help out, along with Kristoff (JOnathan Groff) and the quriky, scene-stealing snowman, Olaf (Josh Gad). For my full review, click here. Director Rian Johnson garnered a best original screenplay Oscar nomination for his tight whodunnit, which boasts a cast including Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Michael Shannon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson and Christopher Plummer. THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER 30TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTOR'S EDITION
The 1990 deep-sea Cold War espionage thriller marked the first appearance of iconic Tom Clancy character Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin). The plot involves the tense hunt for a rogue Soviet nuclear sub that's headed for the American coast. With a powerful supporting performance from Sean Connery, the film captured the angst and fears of the time. Extras include filmmaker commentary and a background featurette.
