Gusty winds will cool highs to the mid 90s Saturday and Sunday, but back up to 98 degrees for Memorial Day.
Morning temps will be nice for the 3-day weekend, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
If you're headed to the mountains for the holiday, expect strong winds and high fire dangers. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon to 7 PM Saturday for the white mountains and the mountains of northern Arizona.
Once the wind exits, highs will go up. The triple-digits return Tuesday and will continue for the remainder of the week.
